    The year 1987 is a momentous one in the annals of Tiruchendur Taluk for it witnessed the rise of a college for women in Tiruchendur. The college owes its origin solely on the philanthropy of Dr.B.Sivanthi Adityan, the illustrious son of a noble father Mr.Si.Pa.Aditanar.

    The college is a self-financing institution and It is fully maintained by the munificence of Aditanar Educational Trust. No capitation fee or donation is accepted for admission or appointment.

    The founder of the college, Dr.B.Sivanthi Adityan is the Director of Daily Thanthi, a leading newspaper in Tamil and is a great industrialist.

      Our library services are lending, reference, reprographic, and newspaper clipings. Normally 1300 volumes are under circulation. The number of books issued per day ranges between 125 & 250. The number of visitors per day ranges between 200 & 400

      Hostel

      The hostel has excellent living rooms, a dining hall, and a prayer hall. The accommodation maintains high standards of hygiene and provides an uninterrupted power & water supply as well.
